Wars in congo during the 21st century

comasdklaskdl;admlCongo was considered as the source of economy by the British colony in fact from long time ago, Congolese were attacked at their homes and the multitudes of people were being killed by the enemies approximately over 5 million people and forcing 2.5 million people to abandon their homes. Congo was a largest country in Africa with high population existence in the country, according to the project overviewer it has been found that there was a man who raised up and dedicate himself in order to end and fight against the brutality in Congo his name was Henri Lady and has dedicated his life to building a peace that will last. many Congolese were killed for non-reason just for land, why they did fight for land? very important question to ask land is the one source of life we use and to grow plants and to developing our settlements on it, no one would say land is not his/her preference without land we couldn’t survive. Henri was the coordinator of local peacebuilding organization Center Résolution conflicts (CRC) based in the Eastern Congo, a region which has been most vulnerable to conflict. what did Henri in order to abolish the conflicts he actual Provided assistance to communities to inform them not to stay in their communities while wars were prevalent all over the country he told people to move away their communities and try to search for other safety places to hide. Henri also begged his community members to reject the violence in fact the young boy and man were not willing to reject it they did have momentum to go forward with their fights and those conflicts but Henri managed to calm them down and settle the peace for all. There were lots of violence in the country even the government was almost capsized/overthrew by the warriors or enemies, Henri formed and established a lot of committees that could stick on how to prevent the conflicts the Congolese were thoroughly advised to stay away from wars and conflicts that were occurring into the country continuously

Building relationships and training people

Henri also thought of trainings all  over around the country in order to stabilize the stability for the country`s citizens. The CRC assists communities to find alternatives to violence through its network of Task Forces and peace committees. The Task Forces mediate between the UN and militias and militia and communities, to help protect communities and with the safe return of refugees to their homes. These Peace Committees are able to respond to the many land conflicts that emerge as refugees return to their communities after many years of being away.DRC CONGO

They also play the crucial role of monitoring and providing early warning for erupting conflicts, responding quickly to potentially violent situations. Because they are there on the ground living and working within communities every day, they can often gain a better understanding of what is happening than international agencies can.

The CRC show how much can be done by local peacebuilders. In many ways, they can do more with a little money than international bodies can. Their work has helped many to find some peace in a place that has suffered from a very long period of conflict. They provide hope in a dark time by showing a way towards a lasting peace. When the immediate danger passes it is local peace-builders like Henri and the CRC who stay behind to rebuild their communities.
